GUNVL RECRUITMENT 2026
Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Limited (MGVCL), on behalf of all the subsidiary companies of GUVNL (MGVCL, DGVCL, UGVCL, PGVCL, and GETCO), has published an official notification for the recruitment of Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Engineer - Electrical). This recruitment drive aims to fill 183 vacancies for electrical engineering graduates looking to secure a government career in the power sector of Gujarat. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online starting from 12th June 2026.
The selection process for this prestigious Vidyut Sahayak post will be conducted in two tiers of Computer Based Tests (CBT). Selected candidates will be appointed for an initial tenure of two years with a handsome fixed remuneration, after which they may be considered for a regular appointment as Junior Engineers. 🎓 Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
- Candidates must possess a B.E. or B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering / EEE (Regular Mode) from a recognized university.
- Must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in the final year / last two semesters.
- No ATKT (backlogs) should be pending in the last year/last two semesters.
2. Age Limit (As of 10/06/2026)
- Unreserved Category: Maximum 35 Years
- Reserved / EWS Category: Maximum 40 Years
- Age relaxations are applicable for Female candidates, PwD, and Ex-Servicemen as per government rules.
💰 Salary & Pay Scale
- 1st Year: ₹ 48,100/- Per Month (Fixed)
- 2nd Year: ₹ 50,700/- Per Month (Fixed)
- After 2 Years: Regular appointment in the pay scale of ₹ 45,400 to ₹ 1,01,200/- Per Month.
📝 Selection Process
The recruitment process will be carried out in two stages of Computer-Based Tests (CBT):
- Tier 1 Exam: General objective test of 100 Marks.
- Tier 2 Exam: Subject-specific test (Electrical Engineering) of 100 Marks. Final selection is based entirely on Tier 2 performance.
